Introduction

One of the major pillars for AUM is the high standards and quality of its staff. AUM seeks to attract experienced faculty members with an excellent reputation in teaching and a well-established record in research through their international publications. This will ensure that AUM students will receive education consistent with the objectives of the program of study. The standards of teaching qualifications and experience exceeds the accreditation requirements of the Higher Education Accreditation Commission (HEAC) in Jordan and will satisfy the accreditation standards of New England Association for Schools and Colleges in Boston, Mass., in the United States of America.

Our newly recruited academic faculty members have graduated from internationally recognized universities in various fields of study.

Faculty of Information Technology

In Computer Science, our faculty members have earned their Ph.D. degrees from Wayne State University, Detroit, Michigan, USA; and from Joseph Fourier University, France. Their fields of study and research cover topics such as:  Artificial Intelligence & Neural Networks, and Multilingual Lexical Network.

Faculty of Science

In the Faculty of Science, our faculty members have obtained their Ph.D. degrees from the University of Alberta, Edmonton, Canada; Chemnitz University of Technology, Germany; Duisburg-Essen University, Germany; University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA), California, USA; Friedrich-Wilhelms University of Bonn, Germany; and Technische Universität Berlin, Germany.The fields of their study and research are in: Algebra, Organic Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, Animal Ecology, and Nuclear Techniques.

Faculty of Health Sciences

In the Faculty of Health Sciences, our faculty members have earned their Ph.D. degrees from the University of Brighton, Brighton-UK; Kansas State University, USA; and from Washington State University,USA. Their fields of study and research are in: Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Technology, Pathology and Histopathology, Cancer Cells Studies, and Food Science/Food Microbiology.

Faculty of Engineering

In the Faculty of Engineering, our faculty members have earned their Ph.D. degrees from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, Virgina, USA; University of Michigan (U-M), Ann Arbor, USA; University of Central Florida (UCF), USA; University of Manchester, UK; and New Mexico State University, USA. Their fields of study and research are in: Mechanical Engineering, Solid Waste Pollution and Landfills, Concrete Structures Characterization and Defects, and in Communications.

Faculty of Business and Finance

In the Faculty of Business and Finance, our faculty members have earned their Ph.D. degrees from Brunel University-West London, UK; Victoria University, Australia; Sheffield University, UK; University of Aberdeen, UK; University of Huddersfield, UK; University of New England, Australia; and from Manchester Metropolitan University, UK. Their fields of study and research are in: Marketing & Supply Chain Management, Service Marketing, Emotions in Marketing, Business Administration, Management Information Systems, Accounting & Corporate Reporting Practices & Investor Relations, Risk Management, Auditing & Accounting with Globalization, and Accounting & Finance in Socioeconomics.

Faculty of Art and Design

In the Faculty of Art and Design, our Faculty members in the field of Graphic Design have earned their Ph.D. degrees from Berlin Academy in Germany and Hilwan University in Egypt. Their fields of study and research are in: Visual Communications and Computer Graphic Design.

Faculty of Languages and Communication

In the Faculty of Languages and Communication, our faculty members have earned their Ph.D degrees from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Illinois, USA; Kent University, UK; Heriot-Watt University, Scotland; Canterbury Christ Church University, Lebanese University in Lebanon and University of Jordan. Their fields of study and research are: Linguistics, Comparative Literature, Discourse Analysis, Contemporary American Literature, Leisure Reading Habits of Freshmen, and Arabic Literature.
