The Deanship of Student Affairs has organized a panel discussion on the implications of the sixth discussion paper issued by His Majesty King Abdullah II Bin Al-Hussein in coordination with members of the House of Representatives.
The round table was attended by three members of parliament (MP) who are supporting the idea of a Civil State . At the round table the members of Parliament presented a brief of the concept of the civil state and the rule of law, followed by an open discussion with the students.
The session ended up with significant recommendations from the students to organize additional seminars on this regard because: firstly, their positive impact in enhancing the dialogue skills among students; secondly, their constructive influence in enhancing the idea of accepting and respecting others’ thoughts regardless differences and thirdly, it is clear that such seminars are considered noteworthy opportunity where students can express their views in an academic atmosphere free of rejection and violence.
