Eighteen students from Nutrition and Dietetics department, accompanied by Dr. Ghada Albandak, have visited Al-Junaidi factory for dairy foods, on Sunday 11th December 2016. The Production Engineers gave the students valuable information about production Steps. The students observed the production lines of several products, as well as the food safety and hygienic conditions. The students examined, by sensory evaluation, some of the fresh dairy products. They have also visited the laboratories area where they observed the chemical, physical and microbiological tests, as well as observing the instruments used to ensure the products quality. During the visit the students were able to compare between what they have learned in theory and the real application. At the end of the visit students were briefed on future projects and developmental plans of the factory.
