The Department of Architecture at the Faculty of Architecture and Design, is delighted to announce that our students; Abdullah Khalil (Project SWIRLY), Reem Al-Hammad and Mohammad AlKhayat (Project ROAD STORIES) have achieved the SECOND and SIXTH places respectively in the Bridging The Gap BRT Bus Stop Design Competition by Fullbright and Azhaj under the auspices of the Greater Amman Municipality.
It is worth mentioning that AUM's participation consisted of 25 students ranging from 2nd year level (supervised by Arch. Hanna S Qubti), 3rd year level (supervised by Dr. Yasir Sakr) and 4th year level (supervised by Arch. Shadi AbdulSalam). Our students competed against 125 students from 4 other local universities (GJU, HTU. UoP. UoJ). Our students managed to claim 2 out of the 6 seats available for the final and eventually achieved the 2nd and 6th place in the competition.
On behalf of the entire AUM family, we would like to congratulate our students for their amazing achievement. The Faculty of Architecture and Design is very proud of our students' honorable participation and wonderful representation. We also extend our congratulations to the other participating universities as well as the winning project.
