The Faculty of Languages and Communication, in collaboration with the Language Center at AUM and with the generous support of the Pontifical Mission Office in Amman, organized a community activity titled “The Role of Community Service and Reading Clubs in Developing Communities.”
Students from AUM, the Greek Orthodox School, and the Latin School, along with members of community reading clubs, participated in the event. Presentations were delivered by Sister Chiara (Beit Al-Liqa’), Ms. Rand Al-Rabadi (Our Lady of Peace Center), Professor Shahla, as well as members of local reading clubs.
The activity highlighted the importance of community service, introduced reading clubs and their role, and shared inspiring experiences aimed at motivating students and the wider community to engage actively in cultural and community initiatives. The event concluded with a visit to Dar Al-Consul, where Ms. Randa Al-Consul kindly provided an informative overview of the venue.
