AUM Hosts Strategic Meeting with Int@j to Support Student Innovation
The CEO of the Information and Communications Technology Association of Jordan (Int@j), Eng. Nidal Bitar, met with the President of the American University of Madaba (AUM), Dr. Mamoun Akroush, in the presence of Dr. Jaafar Al-Shahabat, Director of the TechForward project, to discuss mechanisms for connecting university graduation projects with ICT companies in Jordan.
Organized by the Faculty of Information Technology at AUM, the meeting comes as part of ongoing efforts to support students and empower them to transform their innovative ideas into practical solutions and applications that meet the needs of both the local and regional markets. This initiative aims to enhance the ability of Jordanian companies to innovate and remain competitive.
The TechForward project will focus on key sectors including: E-commerce, Digital marketing, Cybersecurity, FinTech, AgriTech, Digital transformation
The project will support around 40 graduation projects in its pilot phase as scalable prototypes ready for market deployment.
