Faculty of Information Technology at AUM Conducts a Workshop on Secure Computer-Based Examinations

The Faculty of Information Technology at the American University of Madaba conducted a specialized workshop on Monday, December 3, 2025, titled:

“Professional and Secure Preparation of Computer-Based Exams on the E-Learning System.”

The workshop was delivered by:

  • Prof. Mohammad Al Abbadi

  • Prof. Ahmad Dariseh

The session focused on best practices for designing secure, reliable, and professional computer based examinations using the university’s E-Learning System. Key topics included exam security settings, question bank design, randomization techniques, time controls, academic integrity measures, and practical guidelines for avoiding technical and procedural issues during online assessments.

All faculty members of the Faculty of Information Technology attended the workshop, reflecting a strong commitment to enhancing assessment quality, protecting academic integrity, and aligning with modern digital education standards.

The Faculty of IT continuously strives to strengthen the academic and technical competencies of its faculty members to ensure high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment practices.
