Keynote Speaker at the Eleventh Jordanian Novel Conference
Professor Shahla Ujayli, Professor of Modern Arabic Literature and Cultural Studies in the Department of Translation, Faculty of Languages and Communication at AUM, served as a keynote speaker at the Eleventh Jordanian Novel Conference, held on November 5–6, 2025, at the Hussein Bin Talal Library, Yarmouk University.
The conference, titled “The Jordanian Novel at the Dawn of the New Century,” honored novelist Yahya Al-Qaisi as its central figure. In her address, Professor Ujayli explored “Narrative Strategies of Postmodernism in the Works of Yahya Al-Qaisi.”
