The American University of Madaba welcomed His Excellency Mr. Hasan Al-Jbour, Governor of Madaba, accompanied by members of the Security Council of Madaba Governorate, during an official visit to the University campus. During the visit, the delegation extended its congratulations to Professor Adi Arida on the occasion of his appointment as President of the American University of Madaba.

The delegation was received by Engineer Azzam Shweihat, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, together with Professor Dr. Adi Arida, President of the University. The meeting affirmed the importance of strengthening cooperation between the University and official and security institutions in ways that serve the local community and support the developmental trajectory of Madaba Governorate.

During the meeting, Professor Dr. Arida expressed his sincere gratitude and deep appreciation to the security agencies for their continuous efforts in safeguarding security and stability. He commended their national role and their ongoing cooperation with local community institutions across various sectors.

For his part, His Excellency the Governor of Madaba praised the pioneering role of the American University of Madaba and the dedicated efforts of its academic and administrative staff in serving the local community. He particularly commended the University’s specialized programs and training courses, especially its professional and applied courses, which contribute to developing young people’s skills and empowering them for meaningful participation in society.
